January 22, 2026
As of January 21 (Wednesday) evening, a new pump was installed and functional. It will take some time to fill the storage tank to regular levels. Additional work at the water treatment facilitiy includes monitoring new pump function and installing the second pump. This page will be updated as new information is available.

Water System Update: Conserve Now
January 9, 2026
We are currently experiencing a temporary but serious issue at the treatment facility due to a pump failure and are operating from our storage tank. Replacement parts are expected to arrive soon, and we anticipate returning to full operations in the next week.
In the meantime, we ask everyone to help conserve water by:
- Turning off leaking faucets
- Avoiding outdoor watering
- Refraining from washing vehicles, boats, or buildings
- Practicing other basic water conservation measures
We’d like to thank our operators at NW Natural Water for their rapid and dedicated response to this issue. Their efforts are helping to keep water service uninterrupted while repairs are underway.
Thank you for your continued support and cooperation.
